Pachi kobbari pachadi is a super fast recipe and perfect combination for rice and breakfast recipes prepared in just 5 to 10 minutes. For this we just need a tadka for the seasoning of this chutney. It is a simple and easy chutney which tastes great with rice and even our regular breakfast.

Other than tadka we don't need any cooking but trust me it tastes amazing. So, here is the preparation.... try it for yourself....☺

Ingrediants:
  • Raw coconut pieces - 1 cup
  • Green chillies - 15 ( adjust according to your taste)
  • Tamarind - 1 tbsp ( soak it in very little water for 10 min)
  • Salt to taste
  • Cumin seeds - 1 tbsp
  • Oil - 1 to 2 tbsp
  • Mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp
  • Whole urad dal - 1/2 tsp
  • Chana dal - 1/2 tsp
  •  Dried red chillies - 3 to 4
  • Curry leaves - 2 to 3 sprigs
preparation:
  1. Firstly, take a blender or a mixy jar and add 1 cup finely chopped raw coconut pieces, 15 green chillies, 1 tsp soaked tamarind, 1/2 tbsp cumin seeds and salt to taste and blend them to a semi coarse paste and keep aside.
  2. Now for tadka, heat 1 tbsp of oil in a tadka pan and add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, whole urad dal, chana dal , Dried red chillies and Curry leaves one by one and give it a nice stir for a minute and turn off the flame and add coconut paste into it and mix well.
  3. That's it, our pachi kobbari pachadi is ready to serve. Serve with a combination of ghee, goes well with rice or any regular breakfast recipes.
Tips:
  • If you want you can add 1/2 tsp of turmeric powder to the tadka, which I didn't used here, because I just wanted that slightly greenish creamy texture of it.
  • Add green chillies as per your taste.... but the more spicy it is, the more tasty it was....so try to add more.
  • And lastly serve it with ghee... this will increase the taste of the dish.
