EGG PAN TOAST:
Egg pan toast is an easy, delicious and a perfect healthy breakfast recipe.
Also it is a quick breakfast or snack recipe prepared mainly with bread and eggs.
The ingrediants of the recipe are too simple. It is a popular snack in most of the Indian fast food centers. If you are in a diet then this recipe is for you. Give it a try for yourself... here is the preparation...
Ingrediants:
- 2 Eggs (whole)
- Bread- 2 slices( I prefer brown bread)
- oil or butter
- 1 onion (medium size)
- 1 tomato (medium size)
- salt to taste
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tsp red chilli powder
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- tomato ketup/sauce
- sesame seeds for garnishing
preparation:
- Take a bowl and break the eggs into it. Add 1/2 tsp of salt, 1 tsp of red chilli powder, 1/2 tsp turmeric powder, 1/2 tsp coriander powder and beat the eggs untill all the ingredients mixed well.
- Take 2 brown bread slices and toast on both sides on a hot pan and keep aside.
- Cut the onion and tomato's to small slices and keep aside.
- Now, heat a pan and add 1 tsp of oil or butter, pour the egg mixture on to the pan on a low heat.
- Then place toasted bread slices on to the omlette and flip both sides of the bread and cook for 5 mins.
- Now, flip the entire omlette and cook for 2 to 3 mins.
- This is the main step in entire recipe, fold the extra omlette inwards.
- And apply tomato sauce on the top and then add some sliced onion and tomato, also add 1 cheese slice and cook for another 2 minutes and turn off the flame.
- Take off to the plate and garnish with some onion, tomato slices and roasted sesame seeds.
- And our egg pan toast is ready to serve.
Tips:
- Cook the recipe on low flame only.
- Prefer any type of sauces you like I prefer tamoto sauce which goes yummy with egg kind of recipes.
- I used sesame seeds to garnish because it contains rich iron content which is healthy to eat.( Mainly for women)
