EGG PAN TOAST:

                           Egg pan toast is an easy, delicious and a perfect healthy breakfast recipe.
Also it is a quick breakfast or snack recipe prepared mainly with bread and eggs.

                                   The ingrediants of the recipe are too simple. It is a popular snack in most of the Indian fast food centers. If you are in a diet then this recipe is for you. Give it a try for yourself... here is the preparation...


Ingrediants:

  •  2 Eggs (whole)
  • Bread- 2 slices( I prefer brown bread)
  • oil or butter
  • 1 onion (medium size)
  • 1 tomato (medium size)
  • salt to taste
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp red chilli powder
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • tomato ketup/sauce
  • sesame seeds for garnishing

preparation: 

  1. Take a bowl and break the eggs into it. Add 1/2 tsp of salt, 1 tsp of red chilli powder, 1/2 tsp turmeric powder, 1/2 tsp coriander powder and beat the eggs untill all the ingredients mixed well.
  2. Take 2 brown bread slices and toast on both sides on a hot pan and keep aside.
  3. Cut the onion and tomato's to small slices and keep aside.
  4. Now, heat a pan and add 1 tsp of oil or butter, pour the egg mixture on to the pan on a low heat.
  5. Then place toasted bread slices on to the omlette and flip both sides of the bread and cook for 5 mins.
  6. Now, flip the entire omlette and cook for 2 to 3 mins.
  7. This is the main step in entire recipe, fold the extra omlette inwards.
  8. And apply tomato sauce on the top and then add some sliced onion and tomato, also add 1 cheese slice and cook for another 2 minutes and turn off the flame.
  9. Take off to the plate and garnish with some onion, tomato slices and roasted sesame seeds.
  10. And our egg pan toast is ready to serve.

 Tips:

  • Cook the recipe on low flame only.
  • Prefer any type of sauces you like I prefer tamoto sauce which goes yummy with egg kind of recipes.
  • I used sesame seeds to garnish because it contains rich iron content which is healthy to eat.( Mainly for women)
