Banana dates milkshake is an easy, quick and healthy beverage. It takes just 5 mins for the preparation. It is one of the tasty and delicious drinks in milkshakes.

Basically it is a healthy recipe because of the usage of natural ingredients like dates, banana, milk, honey and dry fruits.
We all know dates are rich source of iron which helps to improve blood in our body. And bananas are a healthy source of fibre, potassium, vitamin C, vitamin B6, antioxidants and phytonutrients.
And obviously we all know milk is a Rich source of calcium and protein, which is helpful for strengthing our bones. And moreover we don't have to use additional sugars as dates itself act as a natural sweetner here.
To make it more healthy and tasty add some crushed nuts of your choice and pour honey on the top. So, here is the preparation of banana dates milkshake, give it a try for yourself...
Ingredients: ( for 2 serving)
- Bananas- 2 (ripe)
- Dates - 5 to 6
- Milk - 250 ml ( boiled and chilled in freezer)
- Dry nuts- 10 to 12 almonds ( here I preferred almonds and cashew nuts)
- Honey - 2 tsp
- Sugar - optional ( according to taste)
Preparation:
- Firstly, boil the milk and let it cool down and refrigerate it till it gets chilled.
- Now peel the bananas and cut them into small slices and remove the seeds of the dates and keep it a side.
- Take dry fruits of your choice. Here I used almonds and cashew nuts. Crush them and use it for topping.
- Then add banana slices and dates to a mixer jar and pour the chilled milk and blend them untill the mixture turns smooth. (If you want you can add sugar at this point and blend the mixture).
- Now banana dates milkshake is ready to serve.
- Pour it into a serving glasses and garnish with some crushed almonds,cashews and finely sliced or chopped dates pieces and add 1 tsp of honey on the top and have it.
- You can also add any flavored ice cream on the top to make the milkshake more delicious.
Tips:
- Use ripen bananas which gives more creamy texture to the milkshake.
- If u want you can add sugar as per your taste.
